COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS: BAXTERS OF SCOTLAND ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW 2023 THE SPEY LUXURY HAMPER PRIZE DRAW
Entry
1 Baxters Food Group Limited (“Baxters”) (whose registered office is 12 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh, EH2 4DJ) is the promoter of the Baxters of Scotland Royal Highland Show 2023 The Spey Luxury Hamper Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”).
2 Employees of Baxters and/or any of their associated companies or subsidiaries (and their families) are excluded from entering the Prize Draw.
3 Entry into the Prize Draw is free.
4 Only one entry per person/per email address to the Prize Draw will be accepted.
5 All Prize Draw entrants must be aged over 18.
How to enter
6 In order to be entered into the Prize Draw, entrants must submit an online entry using the QR code linking here.
7 The window for entries to the Prize Draw will open at 07:00am on Thursday 22nd June 2023 and close at 09:00am on Monday 26th June 2023 (the "Closing Date"). Any entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
8 The Prize Draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable following the Closing Date.
Prize
9 The prize is The Spey Luxury Hamper from Baxters of Scotland (“Prize”).
10 There will be one winner.
11 Baxters reserves the right to substitute a Prize with another of a similar nature at any time.
12 The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
The Winners
13 The winner of the Prize will be the first person selected at random from the entries received on or before the Closing Date (the “Winner”).
14 Only the Winner will receive notification from Baxters. Following the draw, Baxters will contact the Winner to confirm arrangements for delivery of the Prize.
15 The Winner will be required to give their consent to their surname and country (or county if they are a UK resident) to be disclosed to any person requesting that Baxters confirms the identity of the Winner. The Winner may raise any concerns regarding this requirement with Baxters by contacting privacy@baxtersofscotland.com.
16 Baxters will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner via email and/or telephone as soon as practicable after the Closing Date. If a Winner does not claim their Prize within 48 hours of Baxters making contact with the Winner, or if the Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the Prize, or if a Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found who is able, willing and eligible to accept the Prize.
17 Subject to paragraph 15 above, the Winners’ surname and country (or county if they are a UK resident) will be made available to the public upon request to info@baxtersofscotland.com (subject to data protection legislation).
General
18 Personal information provided by entrants who do not elect to sign up to our Speyside mailing list shall only be used for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw and will be destroyed as soon as practicable following the Closing Date and announcement of the Winner.
19 Personal information of entrants who elect to sign up to our Speyside mailing list shall be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
20 Baxters and any of their associated companies, will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, expense or damage, which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Prize Draw or accepting or using the Prize, or an element of the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude Baxters’ liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
21 Baxters reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Conditions without notice when reasonably necessary.
22 The Prize Draw, together with these Conditions, is governed by the laws of Scotland and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
