Founded in 2008 by Jon Cooper, PekoeTea source the finest single-estate teas and create unique hand-crafted blends at their Edinburgh tea factory in the historic port of Leith.
Every blend is created from scratch and inspired by their Scottish heritage; every blend tells a story bringing together the finest natural ingredients and flavours. Their Breakfast Blend is made from specially selected teas and blended exclusively for PekoeTea by master tea blenders in Kolkata, India, and uses Assam teas made with a method called ‘cut, tear, curl’. The result is a strong but well-balanced infusion and one which can easily take a splash of milk or a slice of lemon.

PekoeTea’s tea bags are made from GM-free, plastic-free material that can be composted, their packaging is fully recyclable and the inner bags are made from Natureflex, a compostable material. The artisan’s single-estate teas are traded directly where possible and they are proud with the personal relationships made with the tea growers and producers around the world.
