Island Bakery

Renowned for its wild and unspoilt landscapes, the Isle of Mull is a welcome place for all. Birthplace of the Island Bakery, the environmentally friendly bakery uses electricity generated by the wind and water from the nearby stream.

Each biscuit is lovingly made in small batches, and baked in ovens heated by wood-chip which is sourced from forests on the island. It’s this long and slow baking method which gives the biscuits a unique texture.

No matter the flavour combination, only organic ingredients are used in Island Bakery biscuits, and there is no palm oil, colours, hydrogenated fat, artificial colours or flavours.

From award-winning Lemon Melts to indulgent Chocolate Ginger and the classic shortbread, each biscuit is presented in a small cardboard boat named after the neighbouring islands.
